Peter Hanmer – Full Circle

Full Circle is my fifth solo album, and the title says it all. Late in 2021, John-Paul, now living in New Zealand, was visiting South Africa just as I began recording, and it felt right for him to be part of this album and plays on Into the Light. I then reached out to Alan, based in the UK, to ask if he would be interested in collaborating on further material for the album. He immediately said yes. Having two old school friends from those early band days involved in this project brought everything beautifully back to where it began. That is how Full Circle found its name.
Alan, I cannot thank you enough for the huge part you played in this album, from your piano work on three tracks to co-writing six of the eight songs. Your input, talent and friendship mean the world to me.

Larry, you have been part of my solo album journey since the second album, and I am so grateful for everything you have brought to the music along the way. You have a way of understanding what a song needs, adding exactly the right feel, and making my songs come alive. Your drumming, both on stage and in the studio, has always lifted the songs to another level, and I honestly could not imagine this journey without you behind the kit.
