Bowers & Wilkins DM603 S3 Floorstand Loudspeakers

The Bowers & Wilkins DM603 S3 is a 2.5-way floorstanding loudspeaker designed to provide extended bass response and substantial output capability for medium- to large-sized rooms.

The DM603 S3 is slimmer than its predecessor. Its lower 165mm aluminium-cone driver uses Bowers & Wilkins’ mushroom construction and is restricted to bass frequencies, where it operates in parallel with the Kevlar® cone bass/midrange driver. By reducing the excursion demands placed on the bass/midrange driver, the design reduces distortion in both the bass and midrange when reproducing heavy bass content.

The Series 3 also features an improved tweeter response in the ultrasonic region, recognising the requirements of newer high-resolution recording formats.
