AVM Rotation R 30.3 Turntable

The AVM Rotation R 30.3 is a high-quality European-built turntable and the youngest member of AVM’s Rotation turntable family. It was developed as an analogue complement to the AVM 30 range of components introduced as part of the company’s 30th anniversary celebrations.

The R 30.3 combines a substantial composite chassis with a 20mm acrylic platter, a proprietary 9-inch AVM tonearm and a servo-controlled belt-drive system. The tonearm is the same design used on the R 2.3 and is supplied with an Ortofon 2M Blue MM cartridge.

The R 30.3 uses AVM’s proprietary 9-inch aluminium tonearm, which is also used on the R 2.3.

The tonearm is constructed from polished aluminium components and incorporates a precise tonearm bearing. The supplied counterweight incorporates silicone damping.

Chassis Construction

The R 30.3’s frame is constructed from HDF (High-Density Fibreboard) composite material, combined with aluminium components.

The layered construction forms a vibration-absorbing structure designed to provide a solid, low-resonance foundation for the platter and tonearm.
