The Kimber Kable Select KS 6068 sits at the top of Kimber’s Select Series loudspeaker cable range and is designed as a no-compromise reference speaker cable for ultra-high-resolution systems. Built entirely from hyper-pure silver conductors, the KS 6068 is engineered to maximise transparency, low-level detail retrieval, and spatial precision, making it one of Kimber’s most ambitious speaker cable designs.

Unlike hybrid designs lower in the Select range, the KS 6068 uses an all-silver conductor topology, combining both VariStrand™ silver and solid-core silver conductors around Kimber’s proprietary X38R core compound. This architecture is designed to balance conductivity, skin-effect behaviour, and mechanical damping. Kimber states that silver’s conductivity is approximately 6% higher than copper, contributing to the cable’s speed and microdynamic capability.
